Day 01: Arrival at Thiruvananthapuram

Transfer to your beach hotel at Kovalam, one of the beat beaches in India. The day is yours to enjoy.

Day 02: Kovalam

Relax on the beach
Or
Take a day excursion to an Elephant Camp and help bathe and feed an elephant, before returning to a typical Keralite meal for lunch.

Day 03: Kovalam- Madurai (315 km)

Stop at Kanyakumari, the tip of the subcontinent, en route to the ancient temple town of Madurai.

Day 04: Madurai – Kodaikanal (120 km)

Visit Tirumalanayak’s palace and Great Tank in the morning before driving to Kodaikanal, a beautiful hill station in the Western Chats.

Day 05: Kodaikanal – Periyar (140 km)

The drive to Periyar, South India’s most popular sanctuary around the man-made Lake Periyar.

Day 06: Periyar

The early morning boat safari takes you for some extraordinary close encounters with wild animals. Later, visit a spice plantation with a naturalist.

Day 07: Periyar – Kumarakom (125 km)

Leave for Kumarakom in the morning. The afternoon is free to enjoy, as you will.

Day 08: Kumarakom – House Boat

Your kettuvallom awaits you at noon. The overnight cruise on this converted traditional rice barge takes you into the backwaters for glimpses of village life.

Day 09: House Boat – Kochi (60 km)

Disembark at Alleppey at 09.30 am and drive to Kochi. Tour the city in the afternoon. Watch a Kathakali dance performance in the evening.

Day 10: Kochi – Kovalam

Spend the night in Kovalam. Transfer to the railway station to catch the morning train to Thiruvananthapuram.

Day 11: Departure from Thiruvananthapuram

Transfer to Thiruvananthapuram airport for your connecting flight onward.
