Day 01: Arrival at Calicut
Transfer to your hotel. After the afternoon’s sightseeing, enjoy a performance of Kalaripayattu, the martial art o!_ Kerala at a local theatre.
Day 02: Calicut – Tellicherry (80km)
The morning’s drive take you to Tellicherry, to stay at Ayesha Manzil; a century-old heritage home overlooking the beach.
Day 03: Tellicherry – Wayanad (120km)
After breakfast you travel to mist clad mountains and sylvan valleys of Wayanad for a magical stay at the Tree house located in the midst of 500 acres of pristine tropical rain forest.
Day 04: Wayanad – Guruvayoor (200 km)
Leave after breakfast for the historic Sree Krishna temple. Visit Punnathoor kotta, where almost 50 elephants are taken care of.
Day 05: Guruvayoor – Kochi (110 km)
The morning drive to Kochi ensures enough time to tour the town’s many sights in the afternoon. A Kathakali dance performance at a local theatre brings the day to a close.
Day 06: Kochi – Munnar (135 km)
A scenic drive in the morning brings you to the beautiful hill station of Munnar. From here take a safari into Eravikulam National Park; you could also visit a tea factory.
Day 07: Munnar- Periyar (120 km)
Drive to South India’s most popular wildlife sanctuary that sprawls around the man made Periyar Lake. The evening’s boat cruise allows you close views of wildlife at the water’s edge.
Day 08: Periyar – Kumarakom (125 km)
Visit a spice plantation after breakfast and then drive to Kumarakom. Lunch en route at Kanjirapally Plantation Bungalow, a Syrian Catholic Heritage Home.
Day 09: Kumarakom
Full day at leisure at Kumarakom; you could enjoy an Ayurveda massage.
Day 10: Kumarakom – House Boat
At noon, embark on an overnight cruise of the backwaters on a converted kettuvallom or traditional rice barge. Get a glimpse of life on the water’s edge.
Day 11: Alleppey – Kovalam (170 km)
Disembark at Alleppey at 10 am and then drive on to Kovalam, one of the best bench resorts in India.
Day 12: Kovalam
Enjoy a full day of sun ‘n’ sand.
Day 13: Departure from Thiruvananthapuram
Transfer to Thiruvananthapuram airport in time for your connecting flight onward.
